Can I put Tesco App on Desktop?

Does anyone know if I can download Tesco App onto my desktop as it's the only device I have?
If possible, how to do it please? In simple terms LOL.

I have tried Android emulators on PC a couple of years ago but found that no banking/financial apps will run as they cannot pass the secure connection test.

Tesco Mobile, Tesco International Calling, Tesco Malls Europe and...

You don't say what computer you have, assuming it's a windows machine then you'd be looking at an Android emulator and trying it that way. Personally not had much success with emulators for Android.

If you have a modern (M1, M2, M3) Mac then many iPhone and iPad apps will run natively on it but companies can block their install. Tesco Mobile and International calling are available, plus some non-UK ones, but the rest aren't.

There's new official functionality under Windows 11, Windows Subsystem for Android, that allows apps from the Amazon Appstore to install & run (the Tesco app isn't there). It's pretty clunky from my limited time playing with it.

Apparently it's possible to sideload Android apps from other sources but I ain't been there. As you say, financial apps will almost certainly say no.

It's for Tesco groceries. The only reason for me is because you can check if an item is in stock in a particular store. That would save me travelling there to find they haven't got an item which has happened before.

    It's Windows running Windows 10.

That app downloads to Bluestacks but sadly does not open, just crashes and returns me to home.

@la531983 going via the webpage then finding the store and clicking the stock check directs you to a page to download the app.
