Best Place to Park in Nottingham?

Hi Guys,

I am going to Nottingham by car to visit The Theatre Royal postcode NG1 5ND in a few weeks.

Anyone who lives in Nottingham or knows the area, I would be very grateful for suggestions of the best place to park. I am happy to walk to the venue up to 2 miles, and would like to street park if possible.  It will be on a Friday night.

I don't know the area at all, so street name or postcode or any other suggestions would be very much appreciated.

I use the tram park and ride https://www.thetram.net/park-and-ride.  There is a stop outside the theatre.  I find it easier than trying to find street parking.

I use Q Park on Talbot St. 
It’s not cheap but it’s a decent car park and about a 5 minute walk to the Royal Centre.
You can pre book it and there’s often discount codes available.

Free parking at the park and ride tram stops  would be the obvious choice for me. No walking involved
