Shell Energy customer wanting Octopus tariff

I'm sure there might be other threads about this but I couldn't find anything recent.
I was moved from Shell Energy over to Octopus back in December, but I'm still on the old Shell tariff, using the old Shell app, and the old Shell website. I'm a bit confused.
My friend is paying £3 a night to charge her electric car on the Octopus overnight tariff. I'm paying around £16 to charge my smaller car on my Shell tariff.
I'm wondering how I can possibly get myself onto the Octopus tariff, as everything I've read implies that now Shell is owned by Octopus, I am effectively "locked out" of being able to switch which feels really unfair.
Help!

I think your first step should be to contact Shell customer service and ask if you can have the Octopus tariff.I'm guessing it's either Octopus Go or Intelligent Go?If they say no, call Octopus CS, explain that you're a Shell customer, and ask them the same question.N. ... and if all that fails, switch elsewhere, then switch back to Octopus...
