Not sure this is exactly the right forum but no where else is much more appropriate.
Looking for a microampere meter to measure in the range of 1-5 uA.
Any suggestions?

DC, doesn't matter if analogue or digital, as long as it works and can be read easily.FreeBear said:AC or DC current ?Digital or moving needle ?

Interesting but I have some doubt about whether that really would provide a 0.1uA resolution at such a low current, althought great if it did.grumbler said:Just a microampere meteror or something really good?My Mastech multimeter has uA range. This random £10 multimeter from SF has 0.1uA resolution according to its specifications - LAP DC Digital Multimeter 600V

This might be of interest -
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kKWA4L_ZaI0If you want precision and resolution, you will probably need to go for a lab grade multimeter like the Fluke 8808A or shop around for a cheap one on ebay.

How about this, does it look like it might work:I wonder if I buy the 12v version whether that could be drived by a 9v battery.0

If you want to power it from a 9V battery, I'd suggest going for the 5V version and use a Low Drop Out voltage regulator. Or you could take a chance on the meter having a built in LDO regulator...
