Unfortunatly ebay is full of fake memory cards, it really is a gamble0

I would strongly urge caution. There are so many good fakes that it's a mug's game for the small savings you'd make.0

Buy from someone reputable, I have bought several memory cards for various digital cameras I have had and paid a fraction of shop prices and always had a good result. Someone who makes a living selling on ebay has a lot to lose so on the whole you will find companies and power sellers are fine to buy from - just be careful who you buy from and you'll be fine!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Alot of powersellers sell fakes, unfortunately alot of people dont realise as they are that good the sellers get given postivie feedback.
Its often only a few quid more or sometime cheaper to go to places like Ebuyer or other reputable online companys,0 -

I've bought a few from HK sellers without any problem, but I am choosy with the sellers feedback, normally only buying from shooting star level sellers. None have been problematic with storage, quality or authenticity.
I tried to buy one from a UK seller a few months ago, but when I got to the checkout stage, VAT was added that had not been mentioned in the listing. After looking closer at this, I found a lot of the UK volume sellers of memory cards are listed without VAT. Check the listings carefully.
In general though, I've found eBay to be ideal for buing the regular type of consumables - batteries, phone cases, chargers etc. The sellers tend to have much lower overheads that high street stores, and are frequently lower than eBuyer or Dabs as they do not have the same staffing levels, technical teams or diversity of product to keep.
As ever though, it does pay to shop around as prices do fluctuate.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -
The problem with memory cards is that they make it so it does look like you have, say 4 gig when you only have 2 gig for example. So the buyer will leave a positive feedback and then later on realise that it isn't what they ordered. Of course by this time its too late and the seller has his positive feedback.0
