Why have I had an unsolicited package from Temu

Is this company a front for Scammers. Received a package today with a correct delivery address from Temu. I had not ordered anything so was surprised when it arrived. It had a correct delivery address label with the same tracking number for a package I was expecting. There is another delivery label underneath my label! Has anybody else had the same and grateful for any advice in what I should do.

Did the package contain your correct item? Was it to your name? It may be that someone has ordered it (and other customer orders) to their address - and then forwarded it on to yours. Who did you buy your item off?

At a guess you bought from a drop shipper, who simply uses them & resells at a profit to you.

You had not ordered anything but were expecting a tracked package ?

So who were you expecting a package from ?

It may be that your label has been accidentally stuck onto another package.  Can you read the label underneath ?  You need to contact the seller if it is not what you were expecting.  Temu is a marketplace so various sellers use them or your seller could be drop shipping.

I read it as the OP had not ordered anything from Temu, not that they hadn't ordered anything at all. I suspect it is as @born_again surmises.

If it has the correct tracking number but the wrong item it does smell like a scam.  I had similar when I made the mistake of ordering an item from a company based in China.  I hadn't realised that at the time of ordering.  When I contacted them about the wrong item they said I would have to return it, at my cost, before they would send the correct item.
