Morning all, it's damp and grey outside. Yesterday our sticky bun changed into lunch, beef and ale pie with potatoes, veg and gravy for me and chicken curry for Mr Fix It. It went down a treat ! The garden centre was rather bare without all the xmas stuff and the staff were trying to fill up the shelves with normal stuff so not many people were looking round, everyone seemed be just having lunch in the cafe ! We went into the 'van/tent centre next door to have a look around and was greeted by George the Cocker Spaniel, he's lovely but does tend to get under your feet all the time wanting fussing, we didn't buy anything there either so my purse remained firmly shut.
Today I have some little tasks to complete, you know those that you always put off for another day. I also have some lemons to cook as I'm still croaky and lo carrots to slice, bag and freeze.
Gers thank you for your PM, you're so very kind 🧡 I think I would have had that wine before I looked for that spreadsheet anomaly 🤑
Izzy what a minx. Glad the little dog is ok but boo hoo to the empty purse.
Rosy well done to DGS for being made captain.
Crisca sorry to read you have the dreaded lurgy, it's pants.
Camelot glad you had a good night out with friends.
Take care all

Dry here but a bit overcast I think the washing will have to go on the airer today I have a towel load on the go atm and OH will do his work clothes afterwards.
House work to do this morning but all three of us are here so it won’t take too long, I have a few courses to catch up on later for work so I might wizz through a couple of them this afternoon.
Dinner tonight will be salmon roasted new potatoes and creamed spinach in garlic sauce.
I need to pop round to mums and re-set the internet I have to go most weeks and do it, I think the cleaner is knocking or moving the box and turning it off, we have asked her to be careful and moved the box but it’s still happening !Nanny I have had you in my thoughts xxx
Izzy ❤️❤️❤️ What a beautiful dog and worth every penny xxx
Have good days all and take care xx10 -
Morning folks and thanks GERS. I think you sent your wind to us last night. I woke at 4.30 a.m. and didn't get back off again for listening to it blowing. Grr. I hope it's less blowy for your prom walk CAMELOT and you don't end up in the sea. IZZY what a little cutie your doggy is, but I don't envy you all the expense.
I'm a latecomer this morning as seeing I was up early I decided to get the first bus into town for a few bits. In fact I decided to live dangerously once in town and caught a bus to the next little town along! I just missed a bus coming back again and blimey it was cold sitting at their bus stop waiting for the next bus.
Anyway bits of shopping now away and I have left a head of celery out to transform into soup before it's only fit for the bin. I'll have it with my lunchtime sarnie over the coming week. I haven't made celery for ages so it will make a change.
I have youngest DGD here later this afternoon for tea and a sleepover. DD and her DP are away overnight and middle DGD is having a sleepover at her friends. I have yet to christen our tea. I'll have a freezer rummage shortly and see what leaps out. I have treat us to a big naughty bag of sweeties to scoff whilst film watching.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) as always for our poorlies, sad, worried or lonely. Take care all and be safe xx

Afternoon! Bit windy and chilly toay but no plans apart from go to a housewarming party later on in Bristol. I won't be drinking, I'm driving and we won't be staying that long because OH is panicking about his 3 minutes talking although we did and he did, write a bit more over the last couple of days, now he has to learn how to deliver it. I said to him just now, well, you'd better start writing again and he said look! My hands just immediately started sweating when you said that...I shouldn't laugh but I am...:) I've managed to regift some stuff and get rid of some of my own stuff to the friends last night, I'll take them round tomorrow when he's out and I've freecycled my slow cooker. I haven't used it in over a year and the last time I did use it it was for kimchi. The old lady three doors down has gone into a home and her nephew has two skips outside the house just chucking absolutely everything out, It's sad to think your whole life is being thrown out like garbage. It got me thinking about what would go if we went...Izzy, blummin animals, they freak you out and then pretend they're fine on the spot! Glad she's better and hopefully she won't be scaring you again! Gers, hope the meeting goes quick...nanny, can't beat a bit of steak pie, nom nom...have a squizz at the decluttering thread, there are lots of cats for cuddles for you. And take care everyone, indulge in something nice today because you're worth itNon me fac calcitrare tuum culi7

Hi all
A quick and late one from me….
Day has got away from me again and went something like … breakfast, paint shopping, dog walk, yesterday’s forgotten grocery shopping, painting, lunch, sanding, craftwork, bath, and currently making a vat of veggie/tomato sauce and enchiladas.Have a good evening
