It wasn't a present as such but a card from my ex - the joke on the front said "I was going to get you an ipod...." inside it said "but I could only afford a p pod". I thought it was hilarious as the card came with a packet of Thompson & Morgan Petis Pois (I shall grow these on my balcony next year).:j

I got that card for a friend who doesn't "do" Christmas LOL:j

  • My favourite was from my two daughters aged 14 and 10. They'd been busy with movie maker on the pc, had scanned in loads of photos of them through the years and the family and had made us a film, with music , subtitles etc.
I spent the entire time watching it crying my eyes out!!!

I think my favourite present came from my cousin - a lovely simple Jute shopper (already been put to use) with some home baking (some by her daughter) and preserves inside :-D

I think that was my favourite pressie too from DH and he had loaded the card with piccies of the kids which is what made it really special.

This might make me sound like a big softy but having my missus & kids here at home with me was the best present I could ask for.
That is lovely it really is all about people especially children.
My husband bought me a beautiful brooch. We had set a limit of £10 as we are going on a big holiday next year. He has really surpassed himself, he kept within the budget went to a small craft stall and bought me a vey classy brooch. I just love it I've never loved a present more, he is always kind but this year he was spot on with his choice/taste
