GUINNESS SIX NATIONS 2024 PRIZE DRAW: TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY (“Prize Draw”)

 

Who can enter:

 

The Prize Draw is open to entrants who are: (a) resident in the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man during the Prize Draw period and prize fulfilment period; (b) aged 18 years or over; and (c) not employees of the Promoter, STV Group PLC or are an immediate family member of the same; and (d) not in any way or professionally connected with the Prize Draw.

 

Please note that entrants must have a UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man phone number and address in order to be eligible to win the Prize Draw. 

 

Opening/closing date & time:

 

• Prize Draw in relation to the Guinness Six Nations 2024 programme (the “Programme”) opens for via SMS, post, and online via the www.itv.com/winor www.stv.tv/win websites (“Website”) on Friday 2 February 2024. 
• Prize Draw closes for entries via SMS and online at 10.00am on Monday 18 March 2024. 
• Prize Draw closes for entries via post at 4.00pm on Friday 22 March 2024. 

 

Winner selection & contact: 

 

• The draw will take place within one (1) week of the closing date and time for all entries.
• Subject to eligibility and compliance with all applicable terms and conditions, the first entry drawn at random from all eligible entries will win the prize.

 

How to enter & cost of entry:

 

• SMS text – you will have the choice between the two (2) following options: 

 

        1. Standard entry: send a SMS text with the keyword RUGBY or WINNER to 61888. Each chargeable SMS text entry costs £2.00 plus one standard network rate message and this will give you one (1) entry into the Prize Draw (“Standard Entry”). Entrants who send a second SMS text entry using the same mobile number by the closing date and time will receive a third entry into the Prize Draw without charge (based on the same details as submitted in their previous paid entry). For each subsequent entry from the same mobile number, the entrant will receive an additional entry without charge (based on the same details as submitted in their previous paid entry). This therefore works as a “3 entries for the price of 2 entries” offer followed by “buy one entry get one entry free” offers.

 

        2. Bundle entry: send a SMS text with the keyword FIVE or OFFER to 61888. The chargeable SMS text entry costs £5.00 plus one standard network rate message and this will give you five (5) entries (“Bundle Entry”). This will replace the Standard Entry and will only be available on your first entry within the Prize Draw period. Following the Bundle Entry, for each subsequent entry from the same mobile number, the entrant will receive an additional entry without charge (based on the same details as submitted in their previous paid entry). This therefore works as a ‘buy one entry get one entry free’ offer.

 

If you choose the Standard Entry as described in paragraph 1 above, you may make up to fifteen (15) Standard Entries in total per phone number. If you choose the Bundle Entry, as described in paragraph 2 above, you may make up to thirteen (13) entries in total (including one (1) Bundle Entry and up to twelve (12) additional Standard Entries) per phone number. 

 

Please note that SMS entries without the keyword or where the keyword is misspelt will still be counted and charged (where applicable). If you do not want to receive marketing texts about similar products and services, please add NO INFO at the end of your text entry.

 

• Online - go to the Website to enter via the following routes (as available on the Website): 
  • Entry Credits: any Entry Credits won through a Winsday Prize Draw which are sitting in your itv.com/win account will be automatically used to enter this Prize Draw before any other online paid entry routes are available to you (unless you are entering via Rich Communications Services (RCS)). 
  • Direct to Mobile Billing: follow the instructions on the Website to charge the entry costs to your mobile phone bill. Direct to Mobile Billing may only be available for certain mobile networks – for details see the Website. 
  • Paypal: follow the instructions on the Website.
  • Apple Pay: follow the instructions on the Website.

A single entry costs £2.00. Paid and free entry bundles may be offered from time to time as stated on the Website.

By entering online, you will also receive one (1) ticket to participate in the “Winsday” Prize Draw for every one (1) paid entry.

 

Each Winsday Prize Draw opens at 1.00 a.m each Wednesday and closes at 12:59 a.m the following Wednesday. The ticket generated from entering this Prize Draw will be automatically entered into Winsday draw that is live at the time of your entry. Prize: 

 

There is one (1) prize of £60,000 and four (4) tickets to a rugby match in the 2025 Guinness Rugby Six Nations Championship featuring one (1) of the following countries: England, Wales, Scotland or Ireland (“Home Nations”).

 

(i) £60,000 cash 

 

This element of the prize consists of £60,000 (sixty thousand pounds) made payable by BACS in the name of the entrant only. 

 

Please note that a representative from the Promoter will contact the winner to obtain the winner’s bank details in order to swiftly process the BACS payment. 

 

(ii) Tickets for a Home Nations rugby match in the 2025 Guinness Rugby Six Nations Championship 

 

This element of the prize consists of four (4) tickets for the winner and up to three (3) adult companion(s), over the age of 18 years old, to attend one (1) Home Nations rugby match of the winner’s choice (subject to availability) in the 2025 Guinness Rugby Six Nations Championship, in the UK (including England, Wales and Scotland) only (“Guinness Tickets”).

 

The prize provider of the Guinness Tickets will contact the winner to arrange for the winner to take-up the prize on their chosen date. The winner’s data will be processed by the prize provider of the Guinness Tickets according to their privacy policy. 

 

The winner and their companion will be bound by Guinness Tickets’ terms and conditions, including but not limited to the terms of the tournament organiser and the applicable venue owner or operator rules and regulations to access the Home Nations venue. 

 

The prize also includes an allowance of £200 (two hundred pounds) per person made payable by BACS in the name of the entrant only (“Allowance”). 

 

The prize excludes any and all transportation, accommodation, meals and drinks, excursions, attractions, treatments, car hire, travel insurance and personal expenses (other than specified above).
