Lots of messaging and phone calls. They kept trying to fob me off but in the end it was in their intermediary account lodged with another bank. There is a thread on here from November 2022 but I can't find it.lazytoad2001 said:Thankfully this is £136 so not the end of the world but still infuriating for something which should be easy how did you manage to get chase to confirm it was still in a holding account?I will go back to them quoting switch guarantee that it’s their problem to find but suspect I will get push back on it as the last three times it’s been talk to Lloyds banking groups we don’t have it. So annoying for something which should be easyAugust - Garnier Roll on Deodrant :j0 -

Where did your employer send the payment to - Halifax or Chase? If Chase, did they use the correct sort code and acct no?
Did your employer definitively send the payment1 -
Had a payment sent from Darlington to TSB but the account number was correct but the sort code was incorrect (Santander) so it was returned to the Darlington and was in a holding account until I phoned and explained the correct detailsfriolento said:

What makes you say this? As some of us have already said Chase definitely do take Faster Payments, at least to sort code 60-84-07, so if that is the sort code for your account then the payment wouldn't have been rejected by Chase for that reason. If you have a different sort code you can check what it permits here (among others) https://www.sortcodes.co.uk/sort-code-checkerlazytoad2001 said:Sorry it was a faster payment that was sent and Chase don’t take faster payments
