Morning everyone
We're back to windy weather today, there was something banging about outside through the night.
I'll go down to mam and dads this morning for a cuppa and to do his banking, then get the bus down to work.
Camelot - so sorry to hear about your friend
Nan - sad to hear your news too, I hope you get your scan quickly.
Coxy - I'm going to see Priscilla tomorrow, I'm looking forward to it. My ex husband was obsessed with Elvis - my eldest DD has Marie for a middle name, he wanted to call her Lisa Marie, but no!
Scarlet - welcome back, glad to hear you had a good time
Izzy - you're on a count down now - it won't be long.
Little one came out of school very excited yesterday - her teacher had been away on a course so she'd spent the afternoon in the Big Class with the Big children - the 6 and 7year olds haha
I'm waffling so I'd better get sorted. Hope everyone has a good day x11 -
Morning al! The bread was a success, the rye one especially. I used to buy the black rye bread but haven't seen it for years. I love the crunchy and chewy texture when it's toasted..nom...breakfast...but not till I've been and had some blood taken from my delayed diabetic bingo appointment..OH is seriously stressed about his impending comedy day on Sunday, he has to do three minutes of talking, so I've given up my Switzerland status and started helping him to write something. All those years of reading are coming in handy. We've got about thirty seconds so far
He's actually talking and laughing in his sleep which is not something he's ever done before. And I have coffee with two friends tonight, haven't seen them since the beginning of December so that'll be nice.
camelot, my condolences, it's hard to lose someone even if you know you're going to. Izzy, hope your little dog improves, poor thing. One more month to go! Gers, stick with it, it's good for you and fingers crossed about the new cleaner. And yes, pinch punch..:( Scarlet, lovely to see you back, a very successful tri, apart from the cold hereCoxy, my friend said the same thing, she used to love Elvis...How's your dad doing? TA, what about going blond not white? Nanny, recharge batteries day...Take care all, be warm...

Taff I did go blonde on a whim some years ago but.the phase didn't last long. I look at photos taken at the time and think why, just why! X"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"10

Morning all, I wasn't expecting the news yesterday so my sleep was a bit broken last night, however I remained in bed and dozed on and off. When I get my MRI appointment I have to ring the c nurse and she will try to get it fast tracked. DD called in last night on the way home from school for an update too, we're all dreading telling the DGC. Thank you all again for your kindness, I wish I could pass on my thanks to each of you in person, I'm sure we could be a force to be reckoned with !
I went mad last night and ordered myself a new latex pillow, if it lasts half as long as my other one I can't complain about the price.
Alexa is going silly again this morning and telling us there's someone at the door (there's not) so I think she's not used to the sun (what's that ?) hitting her 😂 Today we're going to the garden centre for a wander, then a coffee and a sticky bun, we were going last Monday but it was raining too much and we never stepped foot out of the door.
Scarlet lovely to have you back and I'm glad you had a lovely time. Pity you couldn't have stayed another month and missed some of our awful weather !
Camelot sorry to read about your friend, my sincere condolences are heading your way.
Izzy I hope your little dog will be ok.
taff enjoy your coffee tonight.
Sorry I now have brain freeze and I have forgotten what everyone has said.
Take care all, have a good day if you can. Hugs to the poorly ones and anyone struggling.
nan xx

Morning all
i slept in til 9.30 this morning ! Must have needed it I have been pottering around and put a wash on which is about to finish, DD is due home anytime now after a late shift and a sleep in she was supposed to be off today but someone called in sick and they asked her to work the sleep in and finish at 11, she will be shattered poor thing.
I got a call from the garage yesterday the master slave cylinder has gone on my car, I said yes I know I’ve been telling you that for months 🙄 anyway they have ordered the new part which should arrive at the weekend and will put it in next week - I should get the car back middle of next week all done under the warranty and after pushing they have agreed to refund me the £180 for the investigation they did and found nothing so a small win for me 😃
Unfortunately the £180 might have to go towards a new DW as ours seems to have given up, OH changed the heating element a while ago but it seems to have gone again we have decided to bite the bullet and buy a new one, I can’t be doing with washing up every day !
We ended up not having the risotto last night so that’s been moved till tonight. I need to have a quick hoover round this morning and take the dogs out.
Camelot I am so sorry to hear about your friend xxxx
Nanny sending you much love and healing strength ❤️❤️Izzy I hope your little pup is ok xx
Have good days all and take care xx9 -
Camelot, I was sorry to read your news, it's never easy even if you know it's coming x
RedRuby, good news that the garage accept there is a problem, but pants about the DW!
Not much going on here, apart from me being given a heated throw by a local cancer charity who'd had a donation of them from our local public health team trying to use up funds before year end 😊2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇
