scam silly email why?

i have an email add ending virgin.net

i use sky BB

for the last week or so i am receiving emails addressed to someone else and ending in virgin.net

and like is as hh://geocities.com/person name id etc.../

anyone know why this is happening

i use avg free version ,spybot search and destroy ,adware and basic registry mechanic

did have mcafee which comes with sky BB but removed it cos pc was soooo slow

do i need any other program?
