Shower Toilets

I am hoping to have a shower toilet (Geberit Comfort or Classic) fitted into a bathroom when it is refurbished and would appreciate any advice from anyone who has one installed in their home.  I am trying to decided whether the extra cost for the Comfort model would be worth it for the lady shower facility (I'm not bothered about the heated seat, odour extraction extras).  TIA.

Have you actually used one? We had a "Japanese" toilet in a hotel room we stayed in once that had the "front" and "rear" wash, heated seat, light, auto opening etc but cannot say what brand it was.

Personally couldn't fully get comfortable with the idea of just how clean the water jet nossels were coming out the toilet bowl and do I really want that squirting me?

The warm seat was ok, mainly because of the over agressive AC at the time. The biggest boon was the orientation light which meant no turning on the main light in an ensuite to wake up the other.

Yes I have used them during my work trips to Japan some time ago(all different types) and had no trouble with the various different "modes".  I have viewed Geberit and Vitra in showrooms and found the quality of the latter poor and I was just trying to get an indication whether or not the price differential was worth paying.  I'm restricted to floor standing models which rules out the more advanced Geberit models unfotunately,

It's great and, like my washing machine, I only use one of the programmes!
