Hi,
Apologies if this has been asked a lot. My disability means I struggle to take in information at times, so, although I’ve tried to read through things, I can’t find anything relevant.

Anyway - I was at the Metro Centre last week, parked in a disabled bay and completely forgot to display my badge. It was literally just an oversight. Is there any point in appealing or shall I just pay?
It’s UKPC if that’s relevant.
Thanks in advance.

Of course you don't pay.
Appeal with a copy of the Blue Badge.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You won't be paying. ANYTHING.
Unless they offer to settle at £15 which UKPC sometimes do. You may or may not decide £15 is palatable to resolve it.
Obviously you just appeal online like the PCN tells you on the back.
Do not say you forgot. Say you have cognitive difficulties and can't recall the incident or why the operative would not have seen your Blue Badge, which you do display normally. And here's a picture of it (photo redacted for personal data privacy) and you hope they will make a 'reasonable adjustment' for your case and cancel the PCN.PRIVATE 'PCN'? Perfect! Thought they might. Have to say that is how it should be when a motorist shows their Blue Badge with their appeal. And the new statutory CoP will make cancellation mandatory.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
