In which case, how you can you sayTeenaj40 said:
I really don’t know. It doesn’t say anywhere on the invoiceRodders53 said:What is the "unit" of gas you get for 2.36?
kWh? litre? cubic metre?
A cubic metre of propane contains 25.9 kWh of energy.
"2.36/unit for gas
Surely this isn't correct Ofgem prices are so much cheaper"
44p for electricity is a bit more than 50% over the consumer price cap per kWh (assuming 1 unit on your invoice is 1kWh), so I doubt its £2.36 kWh for gas. If the gas unit is cubic meter, then, at around 26kWh per m3, that's around 9p per kWh, not too much over what the consumer price cap is.
So, expensive compared to retail prices, yes, but not as expensive as some of the business tariff's others have been charged and have posted about here.
I assume you've asked the park owner what 1 unit of gas is? I'd get confirmed that the electricity unit is 1kWh too.

The gas unit is probably just the units shown on the meter, so check the meter to see whether it is cubic meters or cubic feet (it's likely to be meters unless it is a very old meter)
So if it's cubic meters as the post above says that's around 9p per kWh, which isn't terrible compared to mains gas especially if it's LPG.1 -
Then ask them for that info!!
If (as I suspect) it's cubic metres then it works out as 9.11 pence per kWh which is not extortionate for LPG, especially if VAT at 20% is included. My home's Kerosene (oil) worked out as 7.83 pence per kWh last fill inc 5% vat (domestic, not business).
https://www.parkdeanresorts.co.uk/caravans-for-sale/buyers-guide/cost-of-a-static-caravan/ does state they just recharge what they pay to their supplier with no add-ons. {You'll likely be paying for that in the annual site fees.}
