I'm going on a 7 day holiday to Spain in July when I will be 80.
I have a few historic pre-exiting medical conditions which I've lived with, and travelled with, for many years without problems and for which there is no planned medical attention in the future.
Can anyone recommend an Insurer who can offer a simple policy which excludes these ?, obviously at my risk.

If you're likely to be going on further trips in the next year you may find it beneficial to take out an annual policy.
I used Staysure. Was able to restrict cover to Europe. They ask multiple questions and will list your pre-existing conditions. These obviously increase the premium.
Not aware of a provider who will exclude pre-existing conditions. Unless the cost of a standard policy is prohibitive, is it worth the risk?0 -
I am assuming you have a GHIC / EHIC.0

Thanks for your response. I do have EHIC for emergencies and will contact the insurer mentioned. Last year I paid £163 for 10 days in Tunisia with pre-existing conditions which I thought expensive, will continue my search, thanks again.0

Be aware that your EHIC will not cover repatriation if necessary.0

I too have an pre existing condition and for an annual policy I'm quoted £920 with StaySure. I suppose it's not bad as at least I can get insured so I think it's worth it. I know next year it will be cheaper as I can tick I haven't been sectioned in 2 years so that knocks a good chuck off.0
