Love holidays and similar…..be aware

i dont know if it’s common; practice, however…

we booked a holiday with love holidays all confirmed, paid, great, for 3 months time. 

Then it transpired that the hotel was not available despite our confirmed booking

no problem, we found a date a week later, said just change it.

But if we wanted to do that, since they had already booked the flights with easy jet we would have to book new flights and lose £400! Either that or find a different hotel for the same dates. 

We found another hotel - not so nice but it’ll do- but I think if you book with tui or sone or tha5 has their own aircraft the above would not occur

so….its pay a bit more and tui or similar for me in future.

I posted last year (2023) about how appalling 'Love Holidays' were. I hope everything about your holiday goes very smoothly from now on. One would hope that before booking the non refundable flights that this company would be decent enough to get confirmation that the hotel rooms were available. But that seems too simple a concept for this company to cope with. They want your money but do as little as possible for the customer as they can.
