I have just taken out home contents insurance via the above intermediary. The named Insurer is Ageas
Insurance Limited. The premium/cover is very keenly priced [£65 per annum for £75000 sum insured]. Comments please - should I be happy or worried?

I don't think there's necessarily anything to be concerned or worried about. But also I wouldn't expect the same level of service, from this low cost policy, than I would from an insurer like NFU Mutual, Churchill, LV...Have you checked this policy to be sure what you're getting in terms of extras like accidental damage, personal possession and legal cover?0

They're better known for the caravan insurance than home but no reason why they shouldn't be ok. I'd have the usual problem with their £2k out of home unspecified item limit and therefore have to specify lots of items though would never take them all out the house at the same time.0 -
