    3x 35 litre plastic boxes works absolutely fine as a stop-gap measure. The boxes are for the loft, but I can easily buy more. 



    I'm starting to think that what I want for a longer term solution is a triangular unit in there, that looks like it fits with the others but which can be removed if stuff has to be moved through the kitchen.

    Those are a much better fit than I'd have thought, with the added benefit of being able to see what's in them.

    Oh, I bought some opaque ones for the loft, which are 45 litres. I worked out that I can fit four of the 45 litre ones there, and one of the transparent-ish 35 litre ones, without too much 'stick out'. I'm not being too serious here, but overall that adds up to a lot of storage in that space in total. I've got a photo, but keep forgetting to transfer it to my computer.
