Unfair parking ticket - too late to appeal

Hi everyone, 
In July 2023 I received a parking ticket with Euro parks because my parking ticket expiry time said ‘16:20’ and they have captured me leaving the car park at… ‘16:20’. They claim that actually I should have left the car park at 16:09 because ANP cameras caught me going into the car park at 13:09. No signage made this clear and also why print me a ticket that says “expires at 16:20” if I needed to be out by 16:09? I appealed to them which they declined. I told them that I had an 8 month old baby with me at the time and had to get a pushchair in and out of the car on my own which they ignored, I thought I wouldn’t even need to mention this though as I left at the correct time! I missed my appeal deadline to Popla as I completely missed the email until it was too late and now I am receiving debt recovery letters. Yesterday I wrote to the car park using a template I got on here, just explaining the situation and also stating all the facts above and they emailed me today pretty much saying “tough, talk to debt recovery”. I don’t want to pay the fine as I think it’s totally unfair but also not sure what the next step is and what will happen in court… any advice would be amazing!

It isn't a fine, POPLA isn't considered competent anyway and you won't be paying a penny.
