Is my Australian Power Of Attorney Legal in the UK?

I've return home to the UK after working in Australia for the past 15 years. I was advised to get a POA & EPOA in Australia in order to give access to my Superannuation if something happened to me (I'm not married and have no children). Do I need a separate one for the UK?
Also is my Australian Will valid in the UK?
Thanks

Are you asking if the Australian POA can be used for your UK assets?

Frankly I don't know why it couldn't.  I used to see a lot of foreign POAs when I was working for a large financial organisation.  Assets in the UK but person living wherever else.  As long as it looked complete and was an original copy or properly certified copy we would accept.

Of course someone might question accepting an Australian POA for UK assets for someone living in the UK but you may find it's a case by case situation.
