British Gas
How do I get my £727.38 back from British Gas as quoted on my final bill, when they tell me via chat I’m only £62 in credit.
I left them in Nov 23 and I’m still trying to get my credit back.

They seem to have two systems and are only looking at the lower figure but the final statement I’ve got has the correct final meter readings.
Sounds like another post office IT scandal to me

OP, please post your redacted bills with usage covering the relevant periods. There's a very good chance your £727.38 credit did not include usage up to the date you left BG, but if you were migrated from their old system to their new one, it could be the issue arose there (as you are alluding to).(Removed by Forum Team)
