It's back to frosty mornings here.I'm not sure how my day will pan out yet, it's mostly weather dependent still. Being pain free has energised me so I hope to get out for st least a short walk. I've got a pack of chicken thighs to cook but want to find a different recipe from my usual tray roast.Hugs to those who could use one or two.10

Hello all
Thanks NMLC for the start.Off to part time job for a few hours a little later, drop off a load of orders at the post office. Also collecting an item from FBMP which annoyingly will have to be a separate journey but it’s only a few miles away.Dinner will be a tuna pasta bake which I’ll try and make in between. Off to Wales for the day tomorrow so will have to be organised and find walking stuff and make lunch etc.
Hope everyone has a good day

Morning all
Brrrr back to frosty and cold here, have put the heating on for a while, three people coming today and we are off to a local cafe for a friendship / arts and crafts morning the cafe is run for people with LD so should be good, we will have lunch there and then a walk along the seafront before dropping them off.
wicked lady and Coxy I also wondered about coeliac but I have toast most mornings with no Ill effects so I don’t think it’s that but thank you for the suggestion xx
Dinner tonight will be chilli and rice DD has the day off today so she will probably cook it, I am trying to eat less processed foods, not that we eat a lot anyway but the jar of chilli pesto last week made me feel awful so I’m trying to cut them out where possible.
House is tidy but I have put a wash on this morning which will have to go on the airer.
NRA hope you are doing well in your recovery xx
Have good days all and take care xx10 -

I had a go at starting us off!!! but got it wrong.11 -
Morning folks and thanks NMLC. A cold but not frosty start here but thankfully yesterday's torrential rain has moved on. It's nice to see some blue sky for a change.
I've been MIA for a few days. Not felt very sociable thanks to running Abuela's launderette and trying to dry it all indoors, plus family problems.. When you live alone and have no-one to share problems with they escalate, especially through the night. So sleepless nights as well hasn't helped my mood.
Anyway today is another day and, all being well, I am meeting my DF for lunch, a couple of drinks and a good old natter. I'll offload my worries as, according to the saying, a problem shared is a problem halved. I'll let you know if that's true!
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, getting better, worried or sad. Take care all, stay safe xx

Morning everyone
It's dry here and the sun is forecast to come out - yesterday it poured all afternoon and night.
Iris - you started us off perfectly, it must have just been posted at the same time as NMLC - I've never tried and I've been on here for ages.
Redruby - sounds like a lovely day for you and your clients.
I'm going to pop down to mam and dads for a cuppa this morning then I'll get the bus straight down to work.
DD is working so I'll get little one from school today.
Eldest DD had spent a lovely day with her six hunky men!
Hope everyone has a good day x10 -
Morning all; dull but dry here so far.
Woken up to news on my phone that a friend has died; we only bumped into her by chance when we were doing the London walk 2 weeks ago but she wasn't looking well and said she was awaiting treatment. So sad for her husband, as they had no children, so I hope his friends rally round to help.
Otherwise, I am still on the hunt for water glasses. Bought some in Dunelm yesterday but they are a bit small so will check out Ikea today, which is where we bought our, now cloudy, current ones.
I have defrosted some pork medallions, from the Larder, and will roast them in Hoisin sauce then have coleslaw and salad to go with them. @Gers: how about tarragon chicken with your chicken thighs? I use Nigella's recipe but use veggie stock instead of vermouth and dried tarragon instead of fresh. It's very easy to make. Tarragon Chicken | Nigella's Recipes | Nigella Lawson
Happy Tuesday everyone.

I won't make it today as the thighs have both skin and bone and I CBA to de-bone them. I've kept the link for another time.
