Credit file Impact when borrowing with Klana

I was looking to purchase a speaker system from Sony and the best buy pay later offer is from Klana with 9 % interest over 24 months.
Does Klana do a credit check on a credit referencing agency, if yes which one?
I don't have a bad credit history, just wondering as I have heard stories in the past that say borrowing from Klana can be an issue with one's credit rating not sure how true that is as I have never dealt with them.

If they do a check and you pay it all back on time there should be absolutely no issue with your actual credit rating.

As for a few fluctuations in the made-up numbers you see on the various CRA sites, then as nobody else sees them, they are nothing to worry about.
