Car insurance named drivers

Hi all sorry if this sounds a daft question! I have my own car insurance policy. I am a named driver on my daughters car policy. Do I need to notify my own car insurer that I'm a named driver on daughters policy? Any help would be appreciated. Thx

Would suggest you ask them. One of the usual questions is do you have use of other vehicles.1

You only need to answer questions they ask truthfully and this would be covered in the "do you have use of other vehicles". If you made a claim on that policy, then you would have to inform your insurer of that.1
