Can I be reinbersed for a parking ticket as I was broken down

I recently had a blowout on the M25 and managed to get into Cobham services. I have a campervan. Unfortunately, I did not have breakdown cover so I signed up to the AA. After calling the AA the notified me that it is 150 pounds if you need a call out before 24 hours of signing up. So I decided to wait 24 hours. This meant I had to buy a 24-hour ticket from the digital SNAP parking meter at Cobham Services. Could I be reimbursed for this ticket as I was broken down?

The ticket was 38 pound which I think is quite a lot just for a parking spot.0

Who would you expect to reimburse you?
Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid1 -
Why would you expect to be reimbursed, your vehicle was parked there for whatever reason.0

Yeah, I guess that it's just one of those things, thought broken-down vehicles might be exempt in service stations. Worth a try0

Worth a tryIf your vehicle receives a parking charge notice as a result of a breakdown in a service area - and your vehicle can not leave the site as its mobilised there are ways to get the parking charge notice ( note its not a fine) quashed .However once paid this becomes nigh on impossible to do .As you voluntarily paid the advertised standard rate for parking then as far as getting your money back goes its pretty much game over .
