Making will, should we change home to tenants in common

I might be wrong but I *think* changing to TIC applies to that property (the one you're currently in) only. So if you ever want to move you have to ask the trustees. If I'm correct is your current home your 'forever' one? Is it suitable for your old age?
I'm sure someone else can explain this aspect more adequately than I can.0 -
We have no plans to move as this home could easily accommodate old age, room for stair lift, changes to bathroom. But no one knows the future so its good to have other persepectives.0

The trust only comes into effect on the death of the first spouse, but even after that it should not be an issue is the surviving spouse is made the trustee.Spendless said:I might be wrong but I *think* changing to TIC applies to that property (the one you're currently in) only.
