Is it worth buying a new battery for this Polti vacuum cleaner ?

Hello
I have had a Polti Forzaspira slim cordless vacuum with a 21.9 volt Li-ion battery. It has worked well, but recently the battery life has reduced to about 1 minute and then you have to plug it in again. We had this problem before when it was under warranty, and a replacement was provided for free, which gave us about anther 18 months' service, before the battery problem came back again. I am considering buying a battery for it, which would cost some £85. Would this be advisable? Thanks for any advice.

IMHO Either the charging instructions have been ignored or the battery or charger design is flawed to require replacement that soon and twice. Not cheap either.
Never heard of the brand.
If you are really, really happy with its performance then maybe? and try a different charging regime?1 -
for that price you can buy another new cheap one with a new warranty https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B09PMKYLK4?smid=A3O9FD6KLRK03K&psc=130+ years working in banking0

It's the sort of thing where you need a local repair cafe. The chances are that the failed battery pack contains six 18650 cells, which are now dirt cheap, as they are in everything.
If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -
Many thanks for all the advice0
