  • Just wanted to say thanks to all of you who posted on here about the lakeland sale - I'd never thought of this until I saw the posts on here, but I went on the website, made a list of what I wanted, and got it all at my local lakeland store yesterday as I wasn't spending enough to make it worthwhile ordering online, even with the discount code and a few things I wanted were out of stock online but I managed to get them instore.

One thing puzzles me about lakeland though - I'd looked at a mug on the website that was showing as OOS - couldn't find it yesterday instore so I asked an assistant, she had a look on her computer and said they had 41 in the warehouse so she's ordered me one to be delivered to the store. Great, as it meas I don't pay delivery, but I don't understand why, if they have them in the warehouse, was it showing as OOS online?

Other than that I think lakeland is fantastic, both online and instore - great value and customer service is second to none!

I ordered some items from the Spring 2008 virtual catalogue and 2 items I clicked on had no link behind them :confused:and another they applied the wrong price to - omitting the sale price of minus £2 if purchasing 2. When I contacted them they said the offer had changed to buy 3 get 1 free so why didn't their web page for the product say that?. I must say when I contacted them they promised me the £2 off - let's see...
  • What is wrong with the Lakeland site? Takes forever to load, and then tells me page not available. Their techies say it must be my fault. No, sorry it isn't, I know what I'm doing. It's a painfully slow site with lots of problems. They have just sent me a £5 off over £20 purchase as they 'haven't heard from me in a while'. The reason they haven't heard is that a)it's such a pain to use the site. b)I won't pay the delivery charge on the small amount of things I want to order. c)I can find the same stuff cheaper sometimes on the web and d) it's a 60 mile round trip to the nearest store. I'd love to use Lakeland more, but it's not worth my while unless I'm going to their store area for other things. Sorry Lakeland, you've let me down.

I got the voucher and it is for both in store and mail order.

I have had nothing but brilliant service from them.

Mind you I can't login to the site any more not sure why as I use to order on-line think someone is trying to tell me something :rotfl:
