Good morning all
Thank you for the start nmlc
Cold and damp here, but not raining.
@-taff where I live is not sparsely populated, but there are quite a few older people and people keep themselves to themselves.
Take care

Afternoon- late one from me. This morning I had my exercise class which I really enjoyed. Lunch now in the oven. It's good to read about those who are better. Certainly my Lidnocaine patches are making a difference though I will have to have a night without them to check if I'm healed.Hugs to those who need them. Izzy - I've lost track of your countdown, can't be too long now.6

Good morning all and thanks for the start @nmlc x
DS2 is 20 today – not sure how that happened! We met for lunch in Canterbury yesterday at a Rock n Roll pub. Food was lovely and it was dog-friendly so DS1 could bring the pup. We swung by SIL’s on the way home as her birthday is today too and then dropped off some hen weekend goodies to one of the bridesmaids. Felt like a tour of Kent!
A full week of work beckons and the moany one is back and in full swing! Girding my loins lol!
Dinner tonight is spaghetti and meatballs with an arabbiata sauce.
So sorry to hear of your friend @camelot1001 – that’s really tough news to process x
Annoying about the roof damage @snoozer – cheeky of them!
I too wondered about gluten @WickedLady4 – worth checking that out @RedRuby1231 x
Glad you are feeling better @Gers x
Hugs to all in need of one.
Coxy

SO, thought about doing a coffee and cake mornng? Target four or five people, one of you makes the cake, and you could do it weekly or something just for them and you to have some company...or there may be somewhere local that does that...We used to have a oap centre called ST Mairs, they'd put on a meal once a week for everyone who wanted to attend, did dances, etc. There's also the U3A that quite a few people here do...and there's a thing called Meet Ups online which are local occasions organised by local people, for things like, a meal and then go to the cinema, coffe clubs, walks, etc. There are probably some in your area. Dont let yourself be isolated for too long when there's a whole world out there that will help if you let it. I know you have anxiety but it doesn't get better unless you do something about it. I also apologise for both Mother Hen'ing and being bossy
Shampoo? No thanks, I'll have real poo...6
