Beware the promotion code - John Lewis Price Drop Claim
Just a warning really about how the price drop guarantee works, as it wasn't obvious to me.
I bought an LG television 3 weeks ago and now John Lewis are offering a promotion of 10% off if you are a new or existing ‘My John Lewis’ member. Looking around, other sellers are also offering the 10% discount through a promotion code. (LG, Currys, Richer Sounds)
John Lewis are saying the price drop doesn't count if you have to add a promo code to get a lower price. So when working out if you can submit a claim, it is not the price you actually pay that is compared, it is the ticket price.

If you were a MY John Lewis member you could claim the difference.
John Lewis price promise only applies to a reduction in price in John Lewis stores or John Lewis online.
They dropped the ' never knowingly undersold' promise in 2022.0
