Can you have 2 internet providers

there should be autoswitching  and  hand off between them assuming you have the pass words  for each SSID  saved and have set an order of preference 

the main problem  with issues at home is that the LAN itself  stays up  just loses it's external  connection , meaning you have to switch from the LAN to your backup connection unless you have a Router / Switch  set up to  do many- to-many , which while not necessarily 'Enterprise' level stuff  does needa bit of fiddling under the 'bonnet' , which for occasional  use  is probably  excessive unless  connections are mission/ life critical

As aforementioned, there is no conflict between the two.
