    Just checked again with the provider (whilst checking another query) and they have confirmed because I have paid my January balance in full by the due date, I will incur no interest on my next statement. I will fight it, if it turns out to not be true.

    As an update, I didn't get charged any interest on this card so won't any more so long as I continued to pay it in full.
