Savings Accounts for Community Sports Club

Hello,
I'm a committee member at a local cricket club, and we've recently discussed the possibility of putting our money into a savings account to earn some interest on the money we have.
When I have looked online it is very difficult to understand which account we are eligible for and which we aren't.
We don't have a business number or charity number, and currently hold a Community Current Account with Lloyds.
Ideally we'd want an account we could manage online, but we don't mind locking funds away for a period of time.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks!
Graeme

Lloyds have a business savings which you should be eligible for.
Next best I found was Charity Bank.1 -
I run a golf society, have an account in my name but with a pot marked for the society. That way you get more interest. Only downside, you can end up paying tax on it so you need to be careful and of course you have to have complete trust in your treasurer.
Having said that, we never used to bother until recently but last year we made just shy of £300 so worth doing.0 -
Thanks, both. The Charity Bank saver looks to be a good option for us so will try now.
Agreed it easier to set up (and get better rates) on a personal account, but I don't want us to have any kind of fraud risk. Appreciate your reply though.0 -
Skipton BS offers/offered savings accounts to clubs.1
