Group Nexus/CP Plus taking me to court for PCN, help!

I got a PCN from Group Nexus on 2nd April 2023, for overstaying by 41 minutes at Services on A34, Hampshire run by Roadchef. I didn't actually realise there was a 2 hour time limit. I appealed, they rejected, then countless letter from DCBL, now a court claim form for £265.20 at Northampton Court. I have accepted acknowledgment of papers and requested a change in jurisdiction, as its 2 hours from my house and the services.
I purchased goods a two of the retailers and have contacted Roadchef about getting them to get this cancelled but nothing.
Looking at case law and an online solicitor, it looks like I am going to lose as I don't have a defence that will stand up in court. Very surprised about but that seems so.
I need to put a defence in and a counterclaim, if I want to, within 14 days.
Any help, advice gratefully received.

DCB Legal are hopeless clowns that abuse the court system in an attempt to grift default judgements. They run away and discontinue the moment they have to pay the court hearing fee. You won’t be going to court and provided you follow the Newbie thread you’ve already won.

You do not need a solicitor! What is the issue date of the N1 County Court Claim from? It is not a court at Northampton but the CNBC which is an admin centre. You will be able to choose your court later in the process. Did you tick a box contesting jurisdiction? This is not to do with where the case will be heard. If you did, send an e-mail to the CNBC stating that whilst you completed the AoS you ticked a box in error and you do not want to contest jurisdiction. You now need to look at 1) the NEWBIE sticky second post and 2) the template defence thread. Can you scan and post here the Claim Form BUT redact it of all your personal information, claim number and password so that we can see the particulars of claim?3

I I have accepted acknowledgment of papers and requested a change in jurisdiction, as its 2 hours from my house and the services. That was wrong. Should have come here first as that was the wrong box to tick. No-one has to go to Northampton!
You will have to email the CNBC to tell them you misunderstood that box - you are not contesting jurisdiction - and that you will be emailing a defence.Looking at case law and an online solicitor, it looks like I am going to lose.Wrong. Pretty much impossible to lose, given DCBLegal don't continue to hearings!
What's the DATE OF ISSUE of the claim?
On what date does your MCOL History show the AOS was filed?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Date of issue is 12th Jan 2024 and that date on MCOL. How do I get to the posts you mentioned, Le_Kirk? Sorry, I'm not very good at this!0

Or have you not yet done that (as shown in the NEWBIES thread dropbox link to AOS in the second post, all about court).

That's well over two weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence but please don't leave it to the last minute. To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look at the second post in the NEWBIES thread.Don't miss the deadline for filing a Defence.
Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.2 -
I have also emailed them, as you both said, about not changing the jurisdiction and they have emailed back to say "noted".2
