Hi everyone,
I'm glad your pain has been sorted Gers. NRA I hope your recovery goes smoothly.
The solar panels were installed yesterday but aren't working yet because they were missing a part or something. Someone is coming this morning to sort it hopefully.
I'm feeling all at sixes and sevens at the moment, the house is upside down (more so than normal), I've lost all interest in food (cooking and eating) since I've been ill and I don't quite know what to do about it.
Sorry for moaning, I think I feel worse because we were interrupted in the middle of sorting everything out by illness and I still don't feel well enough to carry on with it so I'm frustrated.
Have a good day.10 -
Morning all and thanks for the start @Gers x Glad you had a better night and enjoy the baked goodies later.
Enjoy the shopping trip @TravellingAbuela - nice to have a change of scene at least!
Rest up @newroadahead and let DH take care of you x
DD's graduation was lovely. She was super nervous as was first on the list for School of Psychology. The Chancellor is Sanjeev Baskar and he made a lovely closing speech to the graduates. We had a nice Italian meal after and got home around 10.30pm. DS2 drove himself and left us with only 1% phone battery so I was worried until he sent a message at 11.30pm. DS1 mentioned to DH that he and DIL2B might go to the US to live later this year as her Dad lives there so I'm feeling a bit low after the highs of yesterday. Luckily I have a full day planned - meeting DSis for coffee and charity shop shopping and then BFF for lunch and more shopping.
Have a good day all and hugs to all those in need,

Morning all
Dry and bright here but still chilly I have put the heating on for a while. I feel so much better today so a day of rest seems to have helped. I am off to get my nails done later it’s been six weeks since my last appointment due to me shutting the finger in the window before Christmas I managed to save the nail but it’s very short so the nail lady will work her magic on it and restore it to normal length.
Dinner tonight will be fish fingers chips and beans nice and easy, I have a wash load on the go and I need to have a tidy through and hoover.
NRA glad you are home xx
Coxy glad yesterday went well, let’s hope it’s just a pipe dream for your ds xxx

Morning! Sunny! And only very gently windy. I woke up in Spring....A sortie to the shops is on the cards to get some cat crack, nothing else realy needed. My ankle is playing up today so no plans to stand on it for long excepting the cat crac obviously and a freezer rummage for some chicken, probably spicy chicken wraps for supper, the pie didn't last long. And I feel the need for more veg in my life.snoozer, how awful for you. Maybe phone the doc and ask, can you taste food? And don't worry about the house, it isn't going anywhere so the mess will wait until you're ready. Coxy, glad the day turned out so well, and if DS1 does move? imagine the holidays! You'll just have to be more peripatetic
ALi, there was a long atricle in the Gardian about her a week or so ago, good read. I hope you're all coping with your mum's treatment. Gers, a patch? ooo, very the future! Glad to hear it's working well already too! TA, I will eat my non existent hat if you come back with absolutely nothing for your freezer
bella, you'll meet yourself coming back before long! Izzy, 36? Wow, that went fast! Did you get the results already or do you have to wait? Fingers crossed for your little dog. Take care all, enjoy the day if it isn't windy or raining!

Morning all, after a wild, wet and windy night it's now calm and sunny again, it can't seem to make it's mind up what to do !
Our ring doorbell is throwing a wobbly this morning and going ding dong every 5 mins saying someone is at the door.........Oh no there's not, unless it's the invisible man 😂 Luckily we can see without having to get up and answer.
Today we have to go to Cardiff to the cancer hospital but it's not for me, it's Mr Fix It's turn this time. This is the first time he will have had a face2 face since before the first lockdown as they have been doing his review by telephone, which suited us as it's down the dreaded M4 and at least a 3 hrs round trip in good traffic.
Coxy glad you had a lovely day yesterday at the graduation but sorry it was marred by the news from DS. Maybe it won't happen 🤞
Snoozer moan away, hope you find your oomph and get your house sorted to your satisfaction asap. If you find your oomph see if mine is there too, perhaps they have skipped into the sunset together !
Gers magic patches eh ? Any spare ? Glad you feel a bit better.
TA step away from the bargains !
NRA glad things went well, rest up now and let DH take the strain, he won't do it like you but he'll try his best I'm sure.
Bella thanks for thinking of me, good news about your car seat and that no money left your purse.
Take care all, hugs to the poorly ones, those recuperating and anyone struggling.

Hi everyone
Late one from me as I didn't have time to read this morning. I went down the hill to do dads' banking then got the bus straight down to work.
Gers I could do with covering all of me with your magic patches! The rain pelted down here last night too, the noise against my bedroom window was awful at 2am.
Coxy pleased your DDs graduation went well - I loved going to my eldest daughters. Shame about your sons' news though...I bet he's been dreading telling you. I'm quite happy now with my eldest DD living abroad - she's lived in Amsterdam, Sweden and now Germany - but I know she could never have a job doing what she does and live here. I do enjoy going to visit her, so it's handy for holidays and it's just a few hours away. I wouldn't want her to move to America or Australia though - too far.
She's been sending me photos of a very hunky man she's designing clothes with next week...George Heaton if anyone wants a peek.
Well I've had fish and chips for my tea so I'm going to get washed up and put my pyjamas on and get comfy with my book.
TA I'm sure none of us are expecting you to come back from those supermarkets with an empty bag x7
