Could it have caught on something during the night?
All the bed linen are sheets and smooth, divets covered, no fancy knit wear to be caught on.
When something is new to you then you are probably more likely to catch it etc because your not used to it being there etc, 99% asleep and wondering what the hell this thing around your wrist is etc. Clearly some designs/materials are more delicate than others and so higher risk to wear especially whilst growing custom to it.
There still potentially differences in how the damage would look if its caught and pulled -v- a manufacturing defect
I have no clue and what caused it to snap.
My only issue, why do we have to pay additional cost for them to prevent burning of the stones they put in. Amd how they put them in.
We already covered the cost for the sawing.
So that is what I need advice on.0 -

To me it seems you’ve been given the advice - go back to them and ask why you have to pay for what you believe is an inherent fault. This could be done over the phone, in person, but probably preferable by some written form of communication as that’s more durable (email). They may well point to indications that it’s been misshapen and that is from user error (I think most places will tell you to remove before bed and shower/baths but in reality most people don’t).You haven’t got to be combative (and in actual fact the tone should be inquisitive not accusatory- you catch more flies with honey than vinegar etc) but if they provide evidence that you damages the product, then it’s down to you if you want to pursue it further or ask for a refund of the £30ish for the repair and challenge it/go somewhere else or if you just pay the additional £70ish to get the job finished. No one on this board can definitively tell you what’s going to happen, as we haven’t seen the bracelet; we’re not jewellers; and we’re not lawyers.1
