Selling M in L house...estate agent turns up today for a viewing, lets 3 men into house and goes and sits in car while they spend 25 minutes looking round....the house is still furnished.....is this really ok, we are paying for them to sell the house to prospective buyers.......don't think they realise we live right across the road from the house......

Certainly earning his commission that one 😳 Assume you’ve checked that everything’s still there. Would certainly be having a word0

I would have been out there knocking on the car window asking why they were not accompanying the viewers.0

However she should at least gone into the house, even if she just quietly followed them around at a distance.2 -
Just a random thought - were all 3 of the men definitely viewers, as opposed to 2 viewers plus 1 estate agent?
I guess it's just about plausible that 2 estate agents and 2 viewers turned up for some reason - and so one estate agent stayed in the car, as they weren't required.
(It might be worth checking that, before going in with all buns glazing!)

Have you spoken to the EA about this - not sure how anyone here can help?

Why didn't you go over and speak to the EA rather than hiding behind the curtains ? You'd have got answers rather than us speculatating on here.5

Hoenir.....if you don't want to speculate don't....I don't want repercussions from viewer or EA......they don't know we live right across road and I don't want them knowing that......want nothing to do with the actual sale leave it to them don't want pestering because they are regularly late for viewings with traffic.....sister in law is contact point.
