Candy condenser dryer GVSC10DCG-80

The dryer will start normally and runs for approx.10 minutes then the drum stops rotating and the  heater also starts to cool. Then after the dryer has cooled everything continues to work again for another 10 minutes or so and this on/off cycle continues until the clothes are dry. It sounds like something is overheating and tripping the thermostats. The complete heater assembly has been changes which includes its trip and thermostat. The NTC at the front of the machine has been checked with a multimeter and looks good but without knowing the trip temperature of the remaining thermostat on the front of the dryer its difficult to know when its designed to trip. All the connections on the main board have also been cleaned. Any advice would be appreciated, please.

The electric motor is not covered in fluff and overheating is it? we have just got rid of our hotpoint dryer as the bearings were gone ( it was very old ) and as i striped it down to take to the tip the inside was full of fluff.
  • The Motor is clean and seems to be running fine. Thanks
