Sorry, I probably haven't explained very well. My pay just continued as normal. Nothing on my pay slips ever indicated sick pay, it just said Salary as usual. I'm very confused with where I stand0

I would recommend that you get your claim in for ESA as soon as possible. Your SSP1 should give the date SSP finished and if this is delayed your employer should be able to advise the date so that you can claim. The date should be at least 28 weeks after the first day of paid sickness plus three days unless you had been sick in the eight weeks before this period of sickness.1
