I received my user name and security code in the post this morning and completed the online banking sign up. However when I try to login now, I just see the spinning circle for 20 seconds or so and then nothing happens - it just resets the login page with no error messages. My details are definitely correct because if I enter the wrong user name or security code then it tells me so.

@k@kwangomango, I received mine today too and completed the online banking. I also had the spinning circle when trying to log in so I called them. Apparently they have an issue with their website and they’re trying to sort it, some customers can log in and many can’t. Was advised to try again this afternoon, hope this helps 😊kwangomango said:I received my user name and security code in the post this morning and completed the online banking sign up. P.S. Account showing from their end, only issue was my mobile number hadn’t been linked to allow OTP texts but agent sorted it and all okay now. Mentioning it in case it happens to you too, if it does give them a call, got through really quick and agent extremely helpful.0 -
I've tried just now and it says "We're sorry Online Banking is not available at the moment. We're working to fix the problem as soon as we can."kwangomango said:I received my user name and security code in the post this morning and completed the online banking sign up. Just tried signing in to Cahoot and all OK now. Couldn't sign in for a few hours this morning.0

Does that mean they have all dropped to 4.1% for everyone now? I haven't had an email or letter saying this.soulsaver said:For anyone finding their way here now, note the Simple Saver 5.12% has not been available for a while - now 4.10%.
Unfortunatley I cant check as I couldnt log on, waited 2 weeks for letters, then new logon didnt work so have more letters on way.
I have a few savings but this is far the worst.0 -

anyone shifted their Santander 5.2% savings back to this? Not available for new customers but I kept a pound in it and it’s paying 4.85% monthly. What chances the parent bank Santander drops this rate soon0
-
Re:cahoot, yes I shifted most of mine here as they give 60 days notice of a reduction, quite a long notice period. Although my account is the 2nd issue paying 5.12 (annual)0
-
I have - the 60 day notice makes it safe for at least that period. I like that I can transfer to a Santander current account instantly for spending, so it suits my needs.franconormand79 said:anyone shifted their Santander 5.2% savings back to this? I don't think either version pays 4.85% monthly though - as that's what I have chosen and I get 4.79% on Issue 1 and 5% on Issue 2.0
