Gas bill high
Received our gas and electric bill for 1 month for £96 using 3 units per day. The property is empty, so no electricity used but very little heating which has been low 13c to prevent pipes freezing. This seems very expensive to me? The meter readings are all actual readings) How much are other people paying per month with their heating on?
Any opinions/thoughts welcome!

When you say empty, do you mean unoccupied or actually emptied of all contents? A totally emptied house may need more energy to heat it.
Is the heating set for a few hours each day or to heat to 13C 24/7? A couple of hours each morning and evening should stop pipes freezing and the house getting damp.Barnsley, South Yorkshire

Any opinions/thoughts welcome! Is a unit cubic metres or (100s) cubic feet ?For December, I used just under 63m³ (694KWh) at a cost of £47 plus standing charges. But I'm a low gas user..Electricity usage was 216KWh for comparison.
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

With my thermostat set to 10 C 24/7 my unoccupied 3 bedroom timber framed house uses between 1 and 1.75 units of gas per day once the outside temperature falls below 10.
However two bedroom TRVs are on the frost setting.
If you are heating to 13 C all the time your usage does not look unreasonable but obviously also depends on the size, construction and insulation of the property.0
