Second home/empty home insurance

Please can anyone recommend any second home/empty insurance companies or comparison sites?

So is it empty or a holiday home for you?

Both are in the specialist category which require use of a broker. Be aware that empty property insurance has requirements for action over time depending how long it is between visits and some can be extreme (eg blocking letterbox, windows and draining wet systems.)

no experience of what they'd have been like if we'd had to make a claim, but we've used these for both unoccupied (after a death) and holiday home insurance

It is my second home, not a holiday home, and mostly empty.
