Court records for paternity case

I have never known who my grandad was on my mother's side as he didn't stay with my grandmother and my grandmother didn't let my mum know his identity. By chance recently I have found reference to a paternity case that was reported in the local newspaper to where my mum grew up. It referred to my mother, my grandmother and my mum's father by name. He admitted paternity. This all happened back in the 1940s in Wales and I'm wondering whether it would be possible to view the court records for the case. According to the newspaper article I've found, the case was heard at Neath County Police Court. I'm not trying to track anyone down, I'm just interested to know the history of what happened.

Have you seen this? Not sure if it includes family court records or not but may have something that indicates where you can search.
