balance transfer query

Hi i have £3500 on a card and have been offered balance transfer of 12 months @ 0% with 4% fee or 6.9% pa over 24 months with 0% fee. what offer am i better off taking will be able to clear within 12 months

Depends how you pay it off.
The 0% fee works out to around 3.5% if paid off equally over 12 months. If you backend the payments, it will be more.

Put another way, the 4% fee will cost £140, whichever way you slice it
The 0% fee but 6.9% APR will cost you around £20 in the first month, then a lesser amount each month as you pay it down1
