Hi all 👋
Hubby&myself booked a ski holiday (early last year) for this week, sadly we had to cancel due to an injury.

My question is - which holiday insurance company do I claim from, the one I had when we booked the holiday or the new one who was due to cover us this week?
Thankyou for any advice

Assuming that these are annual policies, I would guess that the relevant insurer is the one that was current at the time of the accident. I would stress that I am not an expert and may be wrong. The answer should be in the policy documents for the relevant policies.

I would expect it to be the one that had cover when the injury occurred.1

Thankyou for your answers - I’ve just sent my medical certificate off to my current insurance company, fingers crossed they play ball 🙏🏼0

I agree with others that it is the insurer that was providing cover at the time the incident causing cancellation occurred.
If it is not them, they will be sure to let you know soon enough.0
