New(ish) shower tray - sealant causing leaks?

Hi all,
Any help on next steps would be great, thank you.
In June last year, we had some work done on our bathroom by Wickes. We paid Wickes direct for supply of most items & for fitting - we paid the fitter direct for the shower tray itself (because Wickes don't stock the size we need) & a few other small bits. Paid deposit on credit card, the rest is on finance.
We discovered at the weekend that there is a leak under the tray somewhere. We haven't got round to having the flooring replaced so the old vinyl doesn't quite line up to the edge of the shower tray, as there was a curved bath in there before. So the small bit of bare floor is where the water was.
On closer investigation it seems that the sealant on two sides, between the tray & the walls, isn't actually sealed any more - the top of the sealant where it meets the wall is fine, but the lower edge where it meets the shower tray isn't at all. I'm wondering if this means the tray is flexing when we stand on it, so reapplying sealant won't fix the issue. The sealant on the third & fourth sides of the tray seems fine.
On one of the long sides of the tray, where the fixed shower screen is & the sealant is ok, the side panel is also sealed in. We're hesitant to start removing the sealant here to look under the tray & ascertain where the leak is - because we've both tried to reapply sealant before (different house) & made a complete mess of it - and because we're unsure if we should, if we were to get Wickes to come out & look at it.
We had acrylic panels put in & the fitter boxed in the shower pipes / toilet waste pipe (this is probably about 15 inches wide) with a leftover piece of panel. We're also hesitant to remove this to check behind, in case we damage the panel.
I'm a bit hesitant to call Wickes & say we've got a leak but not exactly sure where from - also hesitant to start removing sealant in case it looks like we've caused the issue.
I've made a little diagram to explain better:
Red edges are where the sealant is not sealed at the bottom (top edge is still sealed)
Blue edge is the screen
Orange is where the water came out (lowest point as no vinyl flooring here)

Any help on next steps would be great, thank you.

You could cover the sealant and edge of the tray with some water proof duck tape and take a shower. If there is no or minimal leak then you could be confident that it’s leaking from the gap in the sealant.2
