Section 75 Claim Ombudsman

Purchased mountain bike using PayPal credit. Collected from the shop, clear problems with drivetrain and brakes. Six journeys in total and replacement bike given that I'm told still not right. Eventually asked do you want small refund towards cost and see how it goes.
After a while it got even worse, contacted PayPal who just forced a refund when I asked for section 75 claim. Retailer unsurprisingly said well bring the bike back as PayPal have taken the money. I told PayPal I asked for section 75 as I want the bike repaired by competent bike shop as I've spent so much time going backwards and forwards to the shop and will be out of pocket and have no bike. Returned the money to the bike shop and filed claim with ombudsman.
Ombudsman finally got round to the case and said repair not part of section 75(was under the impression it was after a previous claim for work on a car). Has said PayPal can again take the money back and return it to me and then arrange for bike to be picked up and returned to shop and small amount for my fuel for the journeys. Does this sound right, was under the impression PayPal could be asked to fund putting the bike right?

Your rights against the retailer under the Consumer Rights Act will entail refund, repair or replacement, and s75 simply grants you exactly the same rights against the creditor - why are you apparently resisting the refund?0

It's better to rely on the facts, not "Impression".The facts (MSE):
