Medical questions for high cholesterol

My blood pressure is fine, always has been. I am not used to having to declare anything.I am being asked this all in one question and asking for a yes or noIs this a yes or no? They don't make this easy as I wasn't diagnosed with cholesterol as such, but advised to take the statins as a precautionary measure and to bring my cholesterol down a bit. Now wishing I had tried with the diet option instead.
Have you or anyone in your party ever been diagnosed with or treated for any of the following:
- Heart or respiratory condition?
-
Circulatory condition?
(problems with blood flow, including strokes, high blood pressure and cholesterol) - Liver condition?
- Cancerous condition?

I have an annual travel insurance policy through my bank account and have just checked the list of non notifiable conditions. In a very long list, both high blood pressure and high cholesterol are in the exceptions of conditions that you are required to notify them of having.
So yes, your answer should be Yes, but it would seem that it would have little impact on the cost of your policy.1 -
Surely the added cost what ever it is to your policy versus peace of mind that you are covered if anything goes wrong must be a plus.0

So I chose Yes as suggested, and then when I went to add my medical condition I put cholesterol, but then one of the further questions is "have I ever been prescriibed medication for high blood pressure" to which I said no as I do not and have never had high blood presure. They have not asked me about my cholesterol medication/statins nor can I see anywhere to add this medication, but worried if I don't mention it it might invalidate my insurance.

Just getting a quote via a comparison site and no chat option available that I can see. Will try again tomorrow in the hope there is at chat or if not will ring. I usually get several quotes and then decide on which, but they all ask slightly different questions which does not make it easy to compare. I never expected the fact I am on a statin would be so difficult to declare.

The perceived risk may be the same whether or not your prescribed medication so it makes no difference to the risk assessment for the insurance
There is always the chance you omit to take it sometimes.1
