I'm feeling quite positive about 2008 so mine are:

    1) Get new job - have an interview on the 11th Jan for a job I really want
    2) Stop silly unneccessary spending - I'm starting to fall into bad habits again, so I'm going to question every purchase as do I really need this!
    3) Use up toiletries before I buy more
    4) Only buy 1 magazine a week- yep I'm a magazine junkie
  • Mine are:

    1. Attempt to make one of Curry Queens curries.

    2. Get as much as possible paid off our £5000+ debts.

    3. Join a keep fit class and stick at it. (Actually found one this morning advertised in paper shop and its a bloke I used to go to who I know does really good classes) Start next Wednesday...I promise!

    4. Grow as much of our own food as possible on my allotment.

    5. Start growing stuff in the greenhouse we invested in a few months ago.

    6. Try at least one new recipe every couple of weeks and if they work remember or make a note of where I found it to reuse in the future.

    7. Make full use of the extra freezer we bought thats in the shed sitting empty.

8.Get back to being green.......I compost as much as I can but got out of the habit of doing tins and plastic etc.

    9. Try to say one nice thing to someone each day.

    10. Be happy :D
    Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £60

    I've been Money Tipped!
Only one resolution this year; to keep in touch more often with friends and family. Have done well so far, saw my parents and brother on New Years Day and spoke to SIL; nephew coming over this afternoon. Out for a meal with 14 friends and their children on Sunday next week. It just gets too easy to get stuck in a rut and not see the people who mean a lot to you for a long time.
    That's Numberwang!

    1. Lose 8lb. Not a lot but it would make the world of difference to how I look and feel. I've tried for the last 8 years and failed miserably (except for when I had a stomach bug and that is NOT the way to do it ! :D)

    2. Stick to the 2008 money neutral challenge

    3. Keep [STRIKE]nagging [/STRIKE] reminding OH to save for a house

    4. Get a job when I finish uni aka FINISH UNI!!

    5. Get £200 in the sealed pot challenge.

    6. Really really try hard to think positively and stop worrying.

    7. Get fitter and start walking more

    8. Use only £600 on petrol this year

:ABeing Thrifty Gifty again this year:A
